My parents have hosted 3 events at this hotel and each event has been exceptional. The event manager Ms. Terri Cowen is an absolute joy to work with. She’s accommodating, flexible, kind, and goes above and beyond for her clients. She’s the best part of the hotel.

As someone who travels frequently for work, I’ve stayed in countless hotels across the country—but this one stands out in every possible way. From the moment you walk through the doors, there’s a warmth and professionalism that makes you feel instantly welcome. The entire staff is attentive, courteous, and clearly dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience. But what truly elevates this hotel is the leadership behind it. The manager here is, without exaggeration, one of the most impressive professionals I’ve encountered in the hospitality industry. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and every single visit, the manager is there—personally greeting guests, checking in with staff, and ensuring that everything runs with precision and care. You can see the effort she puts in, often working long hours, yet still offering every guest a genuine smile and personal attention. I often wonder does she ever go home? Good leadership with a standard is hard to find these days. Her presence sets a high standard, and it’s evident that her team follows her lead. In an era where true hospitality can sometimes feel like a lost art, this manager is a refreshing reminder of what great leadership looks like. She’s not behind closed doors—she’s out front, hands-on, and fully invested in every detail of the guest experience. That kind of leadership is rare and makes all the difference. The hotel itself is outstanding—inside it's beautifully maintained, with an elegant lobby that sets a relaxing tone, a fantastic bar and restaurant, spotless rooms, a great gym, and a pool that’s perfect after a long day. I recently booked three rooms for visiting employees, and they were just as impressed as I’ve always been. They, too, were welcomed with the same level of warmth and professionalism. Simply put, this hotel feels like a second home. It’s become my go-to whenever I’m in town, and it’s all thanks to a team that clearly cares—led by a manager whose passion and dedication are truly inspiring. That all said, I do have two criticisms if you will. The second elevator is in need of repaired, and finally the water park once open would be the cherry on top. Otherwise its perfect!!! Highly recommend. This is how hospitality should be done.

I was at the hotel last weekend for a reunion. We had people from across the US, UK and Nigeria. The Hotel team led by Ms Terri Cowen, did a fantastic job to simplify and check everyone in. There were no delays, hotel rooms, conference rooms and banquet hall were well prepared for us. We had a great conference.

--- A Great Experience at The Grand Resorts Hotel! From the moment I arrived, The Grand Resorts Hotel exceeded my expectation. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with friendly staff who genuinely seemed excited to have me there. My room was spotless and the bed and bedding was very comfortable. The amenities were top-tier: nice gym, a stunning pool. Dining was another highlight — the bar was very nice and relaxing. The drinks and food was top notch. Everyone is always so friendly there. What really set this resort apart, though, was the service. Every staff member I encountered including the manager went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. They remembered my name, offered great local recommendations, and made me feel like valued guest. The service I received is absolutely a result of great leadership. The manager, clearly is very focused on delivering a great customer experience. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or just some well-deserved relaxation like me, The Grand Resorts Hotel is the perfect destination. I can't wait to return!

We used Grand Resort for our wedding party and guests. We had a complex setup where I was paying for all wedding party rooms and guests would pay for theirs. I worked with Terri to plan and everything worked perfectly with the help from Lea at the front desk. Terri suggested the "Governor's Suite" which was a great idea, the perfect room for the after-party and attached to the Bride and Groom's room. They also kept the bar open an extra hour to accommodate the guests and wedding party returning from the venue. Overall it was a great experience.

Three years ago everything seemed perfect, good rooms, great service and friendly staff. Over the years it seems things have slowly changed and the rooms decline in quality every year and the added service isn't wonderful. Still has great staff though. Definitely a good place to stay if you just need to crash for a few night.
